1. Maida Flour – 1 cup
2. Sooji / Semolina – 1 cup
3. Sugar – 1 cup
4. Mouri / Fennel Seeds – 1/2 tsp
5. Milk (according to thickness)
6. Cooking Oil (as needed)
At first mix the maida, sooji, sugar and fennel seeds all together for 5-7 mins. Then add milk into it. The mixture should not be too thick neither too thin. Use milk to adjust the thickness of the batter. Keep the mixture in room temperature for about 30 mins. After that, add oil to a pan and let it heat. Pour the mixture scoop by scoop in round shape. Then fry both side of the malpua till golden brown color and then take it out and keep in a serving bowl.
